Some new must-haves

Ever since Plone came out with universal attachment (.doc and .pdf) text searching that allows the user to get total "google like" search across a whole site including attachments, everyone wants this. Have been looking for similar for vBulletin. Anything yet?

Similarly, the new expectation is for a user to paste images in rich text directly into the posting window without going through (at least from the user's perspective) of uploading the images for URL access and then referencing them in the html. Again, haven't seen this for vBulletin, but works on Plone, so I know it is possible.

Anyone know if these enhancements exist for vB?

I suspect what is happening to allow plone to do the easy user image adding is that it is taking the image when pasted in, uploading it to its image repository online, then inserting the reference without user intervention. It would appear to the user as though his images are just going in as copied right into the text like with Word...even though what is happening is just what he could do manually given time and inclination and learning....none of which my users have.
