Is there a way for someone to find out my license number by coming to my board? i.e. View Page Source?

Look at the top of your php files in FTP.

I think he's asking about whether or not one of his visitors can find his license number without access to files and what not.
I don't believe they can...as the number is nowhere to be found in the rendered code itself...but I could be wrong, who knows, people can do tricky things these days. |

oops, sorry about the gender mixup :knockedout:
No, it's not in the info file...that file displays server information/configuration and has very little to do with vB itself |

OH and is there a way for someone to go to the index.php and download it from a browser as the actual php file?

I'm sorry for the confusion.
![]() No, you are safe. They can not find out your license number by viewing the source of your pages. The only way they could ever find it out is if they got FTP access. And even then it wouldn't do them any good to have it as that is not the same as your login for the members area on vb.com. ![]() |

To my knowledge. there is no way in current vBulletin releases to find that out, unless:
- You use a pirated copy of vBulletin - Your webserver configuration allow users to download php-files, which no standard webserver configuration would allow. |
