as a CMS, I prefer Drupal. But, wordpress is great as a blog.

hmm I don't know about wordpress but I think movable type and pmachine would be another good option.

<a href="http://www.halflife2.net" target="_blank">www.halflife2.net</a> uses Wordpress as a CMS.

It only affects the "Features" section of the website at the moment, however.
