Hello folks,
First post here (actually, my second post...I had posted my first one in the SITE FEEDBACK section after I got lost, lol). Looks like a nice place to chat...but I still get lost on where to post. Hopefully my question fits here: I am a webdesigner (you can see my stuff: www.ogmda.com) but I am not a programmer. I always outsource code work to friends. However, I have a website that I want to use vB on (www.sportpilot411.com) instead of phpbb and I was wondering how difficult it would be to design VB myself and then hand the PSD to a vb coder or something. I was told via PM that I would have a better chance designing it myself and then just hiring someone here. Are there any specifications I need to follow when designing the forum? I mean, do I really have total freedom (for example, I can put stuff where I want)? Also, what's the average cost on having someone code/integrate VB into your PSD file? I'd love to hear from people who design their own forums and hand it off to a coder. Thanks so much. I look forward to your responses. |
