I'd like to request some improvements to the Active Users feature, either to be incorporated in the next version, or to be made as a hack.
I'd like somethink like the Who's Online hack that was available for UBB. On the main page, it looks the same as the Active Users feature in vB. But you could click the title, where it said Who's Online (or in this case, Currently Active Users), and it would take you to another page where you could see a list of all the users, and another column would have the user's location. For example, it would say "Viewing main page", or "Viewing such-and-such forum," or "Reading such-and-such thread," or "Replying to such-and-such thread", etc. And each name (where I said "such-and-such") was a link to that forum or thread. There was also a record book, that kept a record of when the most number of simultaneously online users occurred. As I recall, in the UBB hack this just told you the date and time, but in the vB versioin perhaps it could be improved to also tell you who was online at that time. |

That hack won't work for 2.0 since the last active location isn't stored anymore in the session-database...
