LATEST 10 ACTIVE THREADS on a no Vb page

How can i have the latest 10 active threads in a non VBpage

I have tried the tip on vBulletin 3.5 Quick Tips and Customizations
but i dosent work for me

I want this to a Joomla page (php/html)

Hope for some help
