A search on Google may be the way you do things these days but the old-fashioned method of asking around will work better for you and your career

Well for the first time in, like, my whole life, it actually says something that makes sense. Job hunting on Google is never the best idea, you need to do that face to face, but for everything else, use Google.

That must be why I'm not getting a job, or the fact that I don't need one since I retired!

my sentiments exactly. I worked for a few years between 16 and just before my 25th birthday and haven't worked since. It's great.

Yeah I just keep the estate in order now....Its a full time job..... Ughhh so much work!

I wouldn't job hunt on Google either, an in-person approach always works out better.

All of the jobs I have had in the last 5 years were not in person applications.
