Some help?

Not sure if this is the place to post this, let me know if it isn't.

Just a few questions here, for the guys who skin vBulletin.

How do you get borders around the whole skin? I followed a tutorial here and I only got 1 side with a border.

To get the "home, members, user CP, etc" links in the banner and not on the top nav bar thing, do you need to use slices?

To get images in the category headers, for example on this skin, how do you put in those images on the left? Do you add it in the extra CSS style option?

Some skins change colour when you move your mouse over the place where it says the category name and description, how do you do that?

Finally, how do you put borders under the category/forum display? If you don't know what I mean, this skin has a black gradient bar under each category.

If you need any clarification, I'll try my best to explain what I mean. You guys are my last hope, every forum I have tried at so far hasn't offered any help at all.
