I've been trying to setup and build an entire site using VB code to provide full intergration. But I've found a few times that when testing on my own pc using an installation of Apache/SQL/PHP on WinME, I get constant requests to connect to the internet for content.
Where is this coming from, and why? One thing is the 'logo' image in the admin cp, there's code that is called within the img tag which calls outside content. Plus there's the 'you're using version xxx, latest available is xxx' Is there any way to turn all this outside content OFF? I realise one of these attempts I'm getting is probably a piracy check, but surely you realise someone who knows php (which I don't) can find these no problem - and remove them. It's just that there's seems to be a connection attempts on pages I really didn't expect it, and it's always a connection to a vb site... |
