I just liked the layout better, I use 2.3.5 on pbnation.com and 3.0.? on automags.org, and I just think 2.3.5 is easier to navigate.

May i ask why you feel this way?

vBulletin 3 is insanely more powerfull and featurerich when compared to vB2.

3.0.?'s user CP is to confusing, dis-organized. I still havent been able to find "reply to PM" button.

But I already bought, paid for, and set up 2.3.5

Really? most people thought the new layout of the UserCP was much more orgazied.

Its right next to the forward button ;D

Looks like they are running 3.0.0 IIRC it was changed in 3.0.1+ and i released a very small mod to fix this for the time that 3.0.0-1

How hard is it, I actually got one of the nice people from my hosting site, to do the install for me, for free

Depending on your upload speed, not too long once the files are upgraded. i did a 50k post site in about 20~ min (hueg attachment table)

the only other thing that takes some time is the rebuilding of the search index

the basic style (colors only) will come accross to vB3, but no templates.
