I want to make a tag "[ mod ]" or something like it, that makes the tagged text (and the tags) only visible to the moderators. It looks like a hack is needed. Do anybody have something like it?

This tag is somehow dangerous.

It could work well when you install the new tag and only moderators can see this info, but what will happen when you upgrade? Then you have to rehack the proper files for the tag to continue working. And if you forget to do that all the info becomes visibe, since there is nothing parsing the tag... you can make some information vulnerable for some time.

True. But it would really help the moderators on my forum if they could see what the other moderators edited out of a post. :ermm:
