Days registered

Howdy! How would I go about adding something that calculates the number of days a member has been registered and displays it below the avatar? I don't know anything about PHP at all, so if ya can help, please explain it as if you're explaining it to a child. lol Thanks.

Try to use $jointime in the postbit template, I think that should be ok.

I treid that and it came up with a weird result of

107.08283564815

under each post.
Did I do something wrong? I trasnferred from ubb.. maybe that has something to do with it?

That's just the real number, but not rounded. You will need to hack functions.php if you want to have a nice round number.

go to php.net and find a function that will round the number off to ___ decimal places.

$jointime2= floor ($jointime);

post that in showthread.php or admin/functions.php for 2.0.3 and then in your postbit template add

$jointime2

Where do I add that in showthread.php?
Can you give me some directions on where I am supposed to put that?
