Enable post url with anchor link

Hi folks,

how can i enable the anchor link instead of particular post url in a thread (which shows as #1 #2 #3.. in thread)?

eg:

from

http://www.domain.com/showpost.php?p=36923&postcount=40

to

http://www.domain.com/showthread.php?t=2296316&p=16829345#post16829345

So you want www.yoursite.com/showthread.php?t=34453 etc. instead of e.g. http://www.yoursite.com/showthread.p...l+Thread?45353 (wrong urls but merely trying to make a point).

If so...

Admin Control Panel -> Settings -> Options -> Friendly URL's and change the URL Type to "Standard URLs"

hi thanks, but what i meant is changing the url in the "#Post Number" to an anchor link

i want to change the url in #2 to an anchor link, eg:
.....showthread.php?t=34453 to ......&p=16829345#post16829345

the instruction here seem doesnt work on vb3.x?!
