Fetch-System (like IMDB)

Hello Folks,

my english is not perfect, but i hope anyhere understand me.

i want code a add-on like the imdb info generator, fetching from a website is not the problem, there are many methods, javascript, dom, etc.

my problem is, when i create a new thread i have a inputfield like "title".., thats the search (fetch)-field, when i enter "Hulk" its show me some title, but (and here comes my problem) how the addon can paste the details to the editor or when i submit the post.
