ALIENS: Colonial Marines Forum

I started this community last summer but it was neglected as a result of some real life issues. Now I'm back, and with the games release expected within the next year, I'm keen to make a start on pushing it once more.

Please take a look: http://alienscolonialmarines.net and let me know what you think of the overall look. Also please suggest any improvement ideas you can think of.

Any suggestions that assist with the success of the forum will be appreciated.

I'm not a fan of dark backgrounds with bright table border forums. They look a bit dated. Not sure why you chose to put that guest welcome text as an image either, would look better as just regular text. Anti-aliasing small fonts never works imo. The thread icons are pretty good, but overall it's just far too dark for me.

I like the new design better. The only thing i think that needs work is the navigation bar.

Can you give me some detail regarding the navbar?

just does not need to look so default... make some nice little images or something./

yep the lines does not do the site justice as you have evereything else set ...it does not match the site but that is my personal opinion.
