Still no luck, custom user group conditions

Ok, I've gone over my "Edit Usergroup" screen at least 10 times now, and have been searching google for almost half an hour now, but still cant find a quick-guide.

I want to make it so that members can join a public usergroup, however they need to be verified.

Theres the "Join Requests" there, however I cant seem to find an option to make it so that people need to request to join the usergroup.


I'm sure I've over looked something... ahh wells, can someone please point me to the write place?

assign a moderator to the group, that way the moderator has to approve the member after that member requests membership.
