Rebuild Avatar Thumbnails Giving Errors

We've just moved host and upgraded from 3.6.8 to 3.71 pl1 The host was windows based and the new host is Linux. So we found a few problems with the case sensitivity of some of our image paths. We have them all sorted apart from the Avatar Thumnails.



Our Avatars are located in root/public_html/Images/avatar with the forum located in root/public_html/forums



Using the Avatar Manager I was able to point the existing avatars to the correct files in root/public_html/Images/avatar but when I try to rebuild the avatar thumbnails I receive the following error



Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Read Error! in [path]/includes/class_image.php on line 2088


This shows itself in the forums as the avatar showing correctly in the users title when they post. But if you look in their public profile it gives a broken image link.
