How to restrict the amount of persons for a subscription?

Hi

Is there a hack or a modification that restrict a X number of person to subscribe a subscription.

For exemple: i create a subscription names "test" and only the first 20 persons can subscrib to it. Once this amount of person are subscribed, nobody else can subscribe to the "test" subscription
