Contests and Stats? Need Help Getting Forum Registrations!

This is probably a silly question, but I have searched this forum and did not find an answer. I would like to run some contests to improve registrations and activity. But how do I get an easy to read statistics breakdown before and after the contest?

For example, I want to award say $5 to the top poster for the week. Is there any statistics mods I can use to help me with this? Or is there a way to export user names and posts counts with phpmyadmin?

I'm new to vbulletin and am a little overwhelmed at all the mods and features. I just need some basic info, even if its not a mod, to help me run these contests. Thanks for your help!
