okay so i have installed the left column ver 2.0 hack and it has the left column there and all the blocks but how do i go about moving the Login and also is there a way to make the material to be a global variable or something so i can make it so the left menu will also show the stats and all ?

We don't know the hack and what was done to your site to do it. If you are wanting to now modify your hack to do something else, you should really post in the modification thread since they know your code best.
