Question about vBadvanced CMPS

I have downloaded vBadvanced CMPS and I am looking at the ReadMe file. It says to edit the cmps_index.php file and enter your forums path. When i try to open up that file it tells me that windows cannot open up the file and for me to try to select a program to open it up with or something. What am i supposed to do?

But you need to assoicate something with php files. I highly suggest not using word, or notepad, but trying a free program such as CrimonEditor to handle file edits for you.
