Hello.
One of the forums I frequent began using a little code. CALLING OUT -YOU- Where -you- displays your username. So everyone has a fit and retaliates before they realize they've been had. It's not a moderator code, as other normal posters use it as well. I want in on the fun, but I can't find the code in the vb list. Any help? Scott |

Monzsta,
You are currently showing up as unlicensed. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive. To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status. The update of your account can take up to one hour. Thank you. |

Sorry. Just looking for that small piece of advise. I am not a moderator, nor do I run a forum board. My sole purpose here was to ask that question I seek an answer to.
As the forum in question is a VBulletin format, I thought this would be the ideal place to find the answer. Do you know of a FAQ or support forum for users (poster's only) of VB powered boards? |

You won't know until you post it!

Same idea. Basically, a simple plug-in that does a str_replace on a page to swap a code with the username. I did this on ubb back in the day and modified it as a plugin for vB.

Thanks a ton, guys. If you knew the board they have very devious ways of using this. Even the senior members are falling for it which is even funnier. Not to mention the board got invaded by another board last night and it seriously threw the newcomers for a loop.
I won't bother you anymore. Thanks again! |
