edit templates with file based IDE during dev?

:erm: I have seen this somewhere and now I can't find it again

I am developing a new VBA module. I like to work in Eclipse PHP IDE. This is great for the php files but doesnt work for templates. It would make so much difference to have php and templates edited in the same place by the same IDE.

Is there a way to fetch templates from a folder during development then later add them to the database when you release the module?
