how to add avatar in navbar

Hi,

I've tried to add the avatar into the navbar right to the 'Welcome Username'.

I've added this code:

<if condition="$show['avatar']"><img src="$post[avatarurl]" $post[avwidth] $post[avheight] alt="<phrase 1="$post[username]">$vbphrase[xs_avatar]</phrase>" border="0" /></if>

But it didn't work.

Any suggestions?
