hmm... did that.

uploaded entire "lightbox-icon" folder to forums root:

so....
www. mysite. com/forums/lightbox-icon

just to be safe I even uploaded to images folder:
www. mysite. com/forums/images/lightbox-icon

I even uploaded the contents of the lightbot folder to icons folder...

but still nothing. or I'm not seeing what its supposed to do.
