I thought about your sugestion, but I have a few questions about it.
I'm currently running version 2.3, so I need to upgrade the old database before I can implement it in the new forum. But when I move the test dbase and forum and then implement the old (converted) database, do I not lose hacks/mods?

This is what I did (tested);

I upgraded my current forum & dbase. Then I copied all the files from my testforum to the upgraded version. However it's not showing all the hacks&mods I installed. (Is this due to the fact that they are not registered in the dbase?)

I hope I make any sense
