Mine is just a normal cellphone, but I have unlimited unmetered free wap as part of my contract so I just randomly go on line on the bus or in a coffee shop, even in bed if the laptop hasn't been turned on.

The only thing I find restircting is that you are limited to 160 characters the same as a basic SMS per text box, so you have to find ways of cutting things out without actually going into txt talk.
