Try editing that usergroup, it may not be set to use the Modcp...

Usergroups, Usergroup Manager >> Administrators (edit user group >> GO)

scroll down and find: "Administrator Permissions", Can Access Control Panel (is Administrator) and tick "Yes". and Can Moderate All Forums (is Super Moderator) and tick "Yes". Save.......

You may also want to edit your Administrator permissions (after editing your profile in the Admin CP)...

If you can use the Mod CP (and see the link at the bottom of the page you should be able to see this link..

)

If all else fails you could add yourself to the Super Mod group as a secondary group......
