vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Friendly MySQL error pages for front-end?

Has anyone come up with a way to make it so your site doesn't look like a bunch of jibberish when the database takes a crap? Is there any way to mask MySQL errors or have something else displayed in their place if vB can't connect to the db for whatever reason?

By the way, this has more to do with non-vb pages that have vb hacks. I know that you can customize the vb error pages.
