On my forum we are considering dropping nicknames for the staff and changing to our real names. This will help make the site more friendly for our target customer base...

I am ok with the namechange in profiles, that's no problem. What I also want to do is run a site-wide search and replace for all instances of our previous nicknames in posts etc. I have a database of over 50,000 posts.

Is there a way to do this and if so how please?
