That's what I had initially thought. My second guess would have been that you've recently pruned your posts/forums. The fact that you've managed to gain that many members in a short amount of time you either have some pull or a good marketing/PR strategy. Whatever you're doing is working.

May I suggest that at some point you can list some tips for members here who are looking for ways to increase their community population.
