All problems fixed, well.. all my problems anyway...
Ok, made some cleanup changes, and code changes.
If you want it to look like mine, do the following:
Open ../includes/local_links_include.php
Goto Lines 2304-2306 you'll see this:

I also updated my magnify.gif and removed the excess white space around it. I've attached it here as well as a screen shot of my final template output.
