I've gotta ask... I installed this last night and went to the google site maps page. I was mildly amused to find that this is the content being spidered by google for my site:

In your site's content
fly
fishing
north
eastern
..

The stats related to sitemaps are:
* Sitemap details and errors

The search query stats (that you quoted) displayed at the google webmaster account are not related to sitemaps at all and are gathered both for sites with and without sitemaps.

the release of vBSEO Sitemap Generator 1.7 will be available soon (no exact date set yet) and there should be no problem with upgrading from any previous version of Sitemap Generator.

for IIS version, please make sure that you have installed ISAPI_Rewrite correctly and enetered the rewrite rules in httpd.ini.

i have been using this plugin for about a month now and have noticed my visitors decline ALOT since installing this so called SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZER.

This plugin is called "vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator for vBulletin 3.5.x & vBulletin 3.0.x". The purpose of sitemap generation is just to help SE bots to crawl your site better/faster. In order to optimize your forums for search engines, you should perform many other steps (both on-site and off-site), including modifying your tempaltes, create backlinks to your site etc.
