I eventually ended up uninstalling this script. Not because it was bad or caused any problems , but because i decided to install squirrelmail as a full mail system instead.

I had to hack it a lot to get rid of the frames (ended up just hiding it and adding menus to the right frame), but i now have what i want with the contacts and everything else.

For those who are looking for a version for 3.5 - why not take a look at an existing mailbox system and try to integrate that into your site ?
I have a page now on mine that sends the info i need for the mailbox from the boards which makes it run quite smoothly in all.
