Then I would suggest you take great care atm because either vbportal or vbBux during an update could potentially destroy the other addons settings. eBux didnt have the issue, its only come about since the name change and using the vbp_ prefix which has been in use by vbportal for a long time.

I am surprised the latest 1.5.5 vbBux update hasnt addressed it or am I mistaken and it has ? I looked inside the product xml and it seems the clashing table is still there.
