Just an update: I have been experimenting with all possible forum permissions, but nomatter what I do it seems that guests cannot see the thumbnails on the forumdisplay pages. (I'm on 3.5.4 btw).

Please, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Everything else works like it's supposed to AFAICT. (though I had to manually edit the phrases, but that's no biggie). I'm of course using the latest install downloaded form here.
