Just a note for people having problems with banners justified left when you want another way...if this has already been posted, sorry

In the banner system's global start plugin, find the textsearch call (the default is "" as mentioned in the hack) find that line in your navbar template and on the line above add an alignment ta, and the close tag on the line below (with a space for the insertion).
