One of my mods suggested something that I found a really good prank, but my bf disagrees

Let's explain: I have my one board (e-steki) with my bf. It's known to most of the frequent members that we are a couple. So, one smod suggested that we post an announcment that we separated and the site is going to be shut down, or sth like that. I find it a great prank but he doesn't like it

What do you think?
