Hey everyone I hope im in the right place for this but ive got something that i need done. Basically i need to take the first post of a selected category and turn it into an announcement for my sideabar.

If you look on the sidebar you see announcements.. If someone could tell me how to make it so that would grab the first post in the announcements forum and have the buttons below it link to the correct functions I would love them forever. I know this can be done ive seen it many places but i just cant figure out how to do it.

Please Help Me!
