First post here, so hello to all.

I have been given a request by a client, and I am investigating the best course of action. I have a fair bit of technical experience, but have never set up a forum, or an e-commerce site.

My client wants to create a website that contains a forum/bulletin board (vBulletin - no problems) but they also want to add the ability for people to advertise pets for sale. He wants the user to be able to upload photos, and then type in text for their ad. I was thinking that a bulletin using PhotoPost PHP might do the trick, but I'm not sure. The main thing is that he wants to collect money via credit card from these users before they can post their ad, as well as only allowing the ad to be displayed for a month. Is this at all possible, or do I need to look into other alternatives?

Will provide more details if required, but I am interested in all help and opinions as I am at the very beginning of a huge undertaking.
