How can I make the first page in a thread get displayed on every page?

I want each page of a thread to have the original post at the very top in addition to the replies. I'm having trouble though because I'm not sure what to change. Everything I've tried so far ends up messing up the navigation or changing the post numbers in the thread.

Does anyone know how to do this?
