I have to agree with CMX...if you don't give them an opportunity to change it back, then you might start losing people. I changed somebody's avatar on my site and they got pissed and instantly went and changed it back. If that option wasn't available, they may have not come back for quite awhile.

Of course nobody want's my "signature" owned avatar. Of course it's my dolphins avatar at 50% opacity and on top of it it reads "I got owned by caimakale and all I got for it was this lousy avatar!"
