It would be really cool if someone made a banning system using AJAX or something so when a user is banned it will go straight to the page showing they are banned so they dont have to go to another page or refresh to see the banning page.

Another way would be to have a window pop up ( Using AJAX, That same window from the vB Pager hack or something similar ) saying that they have been banned. This window could disable them clicking on any links or browsing that forum while that window is open, the only thing they can do is click on the 'Close website' button which can be placed there which will obviously close the browser

What would be even great is if the administrators / moderators can choose which type they want to do from the above
