Hi all,
I hope someone could help with two issues I have regarding the user registration process. If you think these questions should be posted to vBulletin.com please say so and I will apologize.

My vBulletin is set with "Verify Email address in Registration" to YES
and "Email Address to Notify About New Members" with an email address of the one responsible for this.

The problem is that I get the email after a user has registered and not after the user has validated his email address which makes more sense.
Is there a way to change that ?

Another thing is that the users "Join Date", I would like it to be the date of their being approved by the admin and not the date of them filling in the form. Can this be changed ?

I do not have problems modifying code and would be grateful with any help.
