SitePoint is the best way of explaining what I need. In their market place. If you are selling your website it asks you to input the number of visitors, where the traffic comes from....etc

How would I go about doing this?

You're basically looking for the ability to "add new fields to threads" i believe. I am going to be releasing a hack like this shortly if that's what it is.
