Problems:

I have no idea what your site is about, that will turn most people off right from the start.
As mentioned, there is no quick way to get to the forums that I can see.
The whole thing looks way too jumbled together.. I honestly just get lost looking through it. Perhaps reduce the number of text / links on your main page.
tcat, and thead have the same color.. which is probably why it looks so jumbled to me.
What's up with the collapse_tcat and collapse_tcat_collapsed images? They don't mix in with the style at all.
