this seems it can be addressed in version two with the ability of the admin to add different layouts for the users. the rss button should be easy to implment. that and autodiscovery <link> will be included in Beta 4.

Pinging/trackbacks are something I see as much later in development as it is an advanced feature plus I have to do some research into it
