To all the Metal Gear fans in here, which Metal Gear / Solid game had the best storyline in your opinion and please state why?

Well I gotta admit that Metal Gear Solid (for the PSX) had the best storyline and characters but Snake Eater's story rocked too and had even more features such as CQC, camouflage, and much more. I can't wait for the little extra features in Subsistence. In fact, the entire series was nearly flawless except for MGS2. I personally hated the story of MGS2 with an extreme passion. But that's just me.
