I was thinking of having a single forum where "inmates" could talk, but wasn't accessable for non-jailed members. This way, inmates could leave messages, make it a bit more fun.

I do this on my forums: I have a separate section called "Doc's Dungeon: The Tenth Level of HELL", where my "banished" members can post and play (and not have access to any other part of the forum, for the duration of their banishment). Easy to do, using a banned usergroup. Used to use AWS when it worked on the old 3.00 series; now I use Inferno's warning hack.

My members actually enjoy this. They also used to like to purchase "visits to HELL" for other members, with the old uStore hack (when that worked). And, with the old hack, I had an option for people to buy their way out of HELL.

Made for some entertaining times....

Looking forward to installing it, once the vbseo issues are worked out.
