Several months ago I did a database backup on our forums before upgrading to a newer version of vB., then decided not to use the backup.

Now after many new members have signed up and many threads later, I desire to use some of the old information from that old backup file.

The problem is I will not be able to upload the information without overwriting the new thread and messing up the current database.

The solution then is to go into the old backup file and retrieve the desired information then repost it on the forums manually.

However I am unable to open the file up because of its size - it keeps freezeing up. So I was wonderig if anyone here had any suggestions or was willing to do it ?
